Moore Forced to Defend Anti-Jobs Agenda With Small Business Owners
Attempting to Save Face With Group Adamantly Opposed to Pelosi-Moore Agenda
OVERLAND PARK – With near double-digit national unemployment, Congress under the leadership of Speaker Pelosi is killing job-creation in America with record out-of-control spending, bailouts, and debt. Democratic leadership’s agenda has been described by the “Business Roundtable” as “hostile” to American investment and job-creation. Now, as she openly supports the jobs-killing agenda of Speaker Pelosi, Stephene Moore is holding a roundtable today with members of the business community to attempt to defend and explain away her support for Pelosi’s jobs-killing agenda.
Mrs. Moore’s release said that she will speak to small business owners about “contrasting herself on economic issues from her opponents in the November election.” Perhaps Mrs. Moore will speak to these business owners about her on-the-record support of such business killing legislation as Cap and Trade, Card Check, Obamacare and the expiration of middle class tax relief, all of which will have devastating ramifications for the small businesses of the 3rd District.
“Stephene Moore’s policies are simply anti-business,” said Travis Smith, Yoder for Congress Campaign Manager. “We agree wholeheartedly that the contrast between Kevin Yoder and Stephene Moore could not be clearer, and we are eager to hear how Mrs. Moore attempts to defend her beliefs to the small business owners of the 3rd District.”
“We welcome a discussion regarding the contrasts between Kevin and Mrs. Moore on the economic issues facing our businesses this November. Mrs. Moore plainly and openly supports jobs-killing legislation like Cap and Trade, Card Check, the expiration of middle class tax relief, and Obamacare, all of which are toxic to small businesses. It comes in stark contrast to Kevin Yoder, a proven fiscal conservative who has the support of small businesses all across the 3rd District and has always fought for job-creation through empowering small businesses.”
Kevin Yoder is a candidate for U.S. Congress in Kansas’ 3rd District. Yoder has been a leader in the Kansas Legislature for 8 years, representing parts of Overland Park and Leawood, fighting to lower taxes, reduce wasteful spending and create Kansas jobs. A 5th generation Kansan, Kevin lives in Overland Park with his wife Brooke.
