Yoder Accelerates Fundraising Pace, Posts Best Fundraising Quarter to Date

Will Report Over $800,000 Total Raised

Third Congressional District Republican candidate Kevin Yoder today announced he has raised over $800,000 for the campaign since entering the race in December. The second quarter of 2010 proved to be the campaign’s best fundraising quarter totaling over $290,000 in contributions. Yoder has received contributions from over 700 individual donors.
 
“I am excited about the outpouring of financial support our campaign continues to receive.  Even more exciting, however, are the number of volunteers and supporters the campaign continues to gather with every passing week.  Our campaign just recently surpassed 16,000 doors knocked and our momentum continues to grow. Voters are responding to our message of bringing fiscal responsibility and reform to Washington,” said Yoder. “Voters in the 3rd are tired of the tax and spend policies of the Pelosi -led congress and are clearly looking for a new direction.”

Yoder is running for the Republican nomination for the 3rd Congressional District in Kansas. The 3rd District includes Johnson and Wyandotte Counties as well as parts of Douglas County. He lives in Overland Park with his wife, Brooke.
